As a photographic artist who loves animals and paints digital portraits of them for licensing, it seems a natural extension to offer Custom Pet Portraits for clients who wish to memorialize their furred and feathered loved ones.  Our memories of the time we spend with our pets, which is always too short, is captured in all the photographs we take during their lifetime with us.  Those photographs are what I use to create digital oil paintings.  Those moments when you caught the expression you will always remember, that one photo when their true personality was captured by your camera.  Those are the memories I can help you cherish by rendering in a digital oil portrait on canvas, suitable for framing that will last for generations.

What’s Included

You get your pet’s portrait printed on archival canvas paper ready to be stretched or framed and signed by the artist.  It is a one of a kind original that will not be available to the public unless special arrangements between the artist and the customer have been made.

 

Shipping your new oil painting to you is included in the price (shipping the products mentioned below is not included and is handled through the gift shop).

 

Your pet’s portrait is added to over 143 products in a private section of the gift shop.  You are provided a link to the store and may purchase any items with your pet’s new portrait.  You may provide this link to friends and family, only you will have access to these products, they are not available to the general public.

 

You may request your pet’s name, birth year and date of passing or any combination if you wish.  You may request that their name or nickname be on the products but not the canvas portrait.  None of this costs extra unless you make changes after the canvas is printed.

 

Your private store will remain accessible to you for 90-days after your portrait is completed unless you request to have the items remain available longer. After the 90-day period the items will be removed from the gift shop.  

 

If your portrait ever gets damaged or lost, you may contact me and get a replacement for $25.00 to cover the cost of the printing, plus shipping.  The file of your portrait will be kept in archives and will always be accessible for reprinting.

Single Pet Cameo Portrait

A cameo portrait is basically the head and shoulders of your pet, like Abbey shown above.

Multi Pet Cameo Portrait

More than one pet in the portrait.  The first pet is $125.00, each additional pet in the same portrait is an additional fee.

     Full-body portraits, portraits with backgrounds and portraits of pets with their people, all can be done but depending on the complexity of the photographs, the pricing may vary and therefore the job will be quoted. 

 

     I am always open to suggestions and ideas, and am a firm believer of ‘it never hurts to ask’, so feel free to email me if you have questions or would like to have a painting of something totally unrelated to pets...those are possible too.
